The film Sree Vishnu and Catherine Tressa’s Bhala Thandhanana has just been released in cinemas. Let’s have a look at the movie.
Sashikala (Catherine) is a serious and honest crime investigation journalist who has exposed the unsavory aspects of several politicians. Chandu (Sree Vishnu) is a good man working as an accountant at an orphanage. They become friends after a tragedy, when Raja discovers that Anand Bali (Ramachandra Raju), the father of Sashikava’s kidnapped son, deals in hawala cash.
Some people take Chandu on one day. What followed was a chain of events that eventually led to the abduction of Chandu? Why did they grab him? Is there any connection between Anand Bali and the hawala cash network? The answers to these questions will be addressed in the main film.
The message of the tale is uplifting because of its main theme. Sree Vishnu has previously shown his acting abilities in prior films. He plays a character with two distinct personalities in this film. He performs with ease and zest. Catherine Tressa also does well, as she gets an excellent part after a long stretch.
In the second half, Satya’s comedy is effective and a welcome relief. In the second part of the film, Posani Krishna Murali delivers an outstanding performance. Finally, in this Telugu movie, Ramachandra Raju (Garuda Ram) gets a major antagonist part. The rest of the cast is competent. The action section is good, as well as the production values.
The action film should keep the audience turning the pages as well as interested. Furthermore, the script must be fast-paced. That is why Bhala Thandhanana fell short in its appeal. Despite Sree Vishnu’s best efforts, everything goes to waste because of the poor storytelling and slow narrative of Garuda Ram. The makers might have taken better care of Garuda Ram’s appearance by displaying him more powerful.
The music, in addition to being slow and uninteresting, is also the film’s most serious flaw. The songs are not able to entice the audience. The dialogue is also substandard. If the director had paid greater attention to the crisp narration, Bhala Thandhanana could have been an excellent action drama.
Chaitanya Danthuluri is a successful director in the business. Though the plot has a good message to convey, he fails to communicate it adequately. Manisharma’s music isn’t great, and the background music isn’t much better. Suresh Ragutu’s cinematography is excellent. Marthand K Venkatesh’s editing could have been improved.
Bhala Thandhanana is a typical action film with a twist at the end. The only thing worth noting in the film is Sree Vishnu’s performance. If you like action movies, give Bhala Thandhanana a glance.
